After creating my “Wear ‘em Up, Wear ‘em Down” Gauntlets, inspired by those worn by Claire in the show Outlander, I realized I wanted a hat to wear with them. This is what I came up with – a slouch hat kind of like the tams the men wear on the show (but slouching to the back rather than to the side) with the same band and the same cable pattern...

Inspired by the gauntlets worn by Claire in the show Outlander, but after knitting up other patterns, I wanted a more complex cable pattern and a more solid arm cuff than the 4x4 ribbing others were using.
