This stole features a provisional cast on so that both sides can be worked symmetrically without grafting, a knitted-on border for flexibility, and multiple joins in the corners for ease. The original was knit with handspun Cormo blend singles, and it will work best with a yarn that has some spring to it. It is charted, not written.

These are plain stockinette socks with a fun heel treatment and ribbing on the top. If you watch The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, you can see my inspiration in the odd way Cesare is wrapped up.

This stole is based on what I imagined the Rohirrim would think about Lothlorien. A field of leaves gives way to blossoming flowers, whose tips are pointed with elven arrows. Water surrounds and protects the forest.
