Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
An asymmetrical shawl worked left-to-right with soft scallops and a lace edge that echoes the frilled tips of parsley leaves. The first pattern in the Scarborough Faire series. This is a great pattern when you’re just getting into lace knitting.
Knitting: Scarf, Shawl / Wrap
Time for some relaxing summer knitting by the sea! A crescent shaped shawlette knit in garter stitch with a neckline reminiscent of peaking swells, sweeping curves in the body created by a series of wraps, and a simple lace edging ending in a picot edge suggesting rolling waves.
Knitting: Cowl
Soft, billowy, and deceptively simple - this cowl is easy and quick to knit, with enough interest in the subtle scalloping and drop stitches to keep from being bored. The pattern is meant to show off unusual handpaints, novelty yarns and homespuns. This project can easily be done in one or two sittings - as simple as spinning straw into gold!
