Knitting: Cowl, Stocking
This tubular cowl is knitted in the round with a spiraling cable pattern. An i-cord threaded through eyelets can be cinched and transform the cowl into a hat. A multipurpose accessory to keep either your head or neck warm. Both chart and written directions are given.
Knitting: Scarf
A fresh take on the classic leaf edging, the scarf is knitted from the center from a provisional cast-on toward the ends. The leaf edging is mirrored for both edges and tapered down to a point at the ends. Skills needed: increases, decreases, yarn overs, and picking up stitches from provisional cast on. Instructions include both text and charts.
Knitting: Pullover
Slashes are made to match self slashed jeans. The fit is easy, simple rectangle body and square sleeves. Each knitter can customize their sweater with their own choice of slashes.
Knitting: Cardigan
The shrug is made in two pieces. The shoulder/sleeves part is worked from a provisional cast-on from center back to cuff and then cast-on picked up for other half. This gives flexibility for a perfect fit in the back width and sleeve length. The body is a rectangle. Optional short rows at back armpit gives a smoother fit.
