This is a recipe for a prayer shawl. Depending on how many people who have knitting depends on how many strips you need to make. Yardage is approximate, each of the strips took about 130 yards. This recipe has a bit of a story behind it too.

This is more of a sock recipe than a pattern, you will need to use your own heel and toe. I don’t recommend this recipe to a beginner sock knitter, its helpful to understand basic sock construction.

Very Important Check your gauge! The gauge for this hat is 5.5sts/inch where as the Tulip sweater by Lindsay Pekny is 4.5sts/inch.
