Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is a companion sock to the strikingly striped socks. When I charted up the pattern, I liked it just as well for texture as for color and decided to knit up and present both versions. The textured version is a more subtle vertically striped sock that makes use of seed stitch panels between panels of knit and purl stitches to provide interest.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I wanted a strong vertical design in a sock that didn’t involve the trickery of turning the construction sideways, was easy to memorize, and could be resized to fit a lot of different feet without too much trouble.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
This one is more abstract, but it should look like a small segment of steel roller coaster track.
Knitting: Mittens
Inspired by my sister in law’s love of all things pink and froggy, these mittens nod to the traditional while turning up the whimsy. When your hands are held together like a book, there sits a frog.

Knitting: Scarf
Inspired by the cable patterns in the Yarn Harlot’s Unoriginal Hat, I made a 52 row repeat variation on the theme and built this scarf around it.
