Ollie, ( The original Ollie) was made for my friend Angie, then Caro, said she wanted an Ollie for herself , so Ollie Too was born. Then she commented that she hoped Alex, aged 5 wouldnt steal Ollie…. So Mini Ollie was born. ( I cant resist that young mans charming smile)

I really must stop having silly conversations ( the pattern explains the who, why, what ,etc )
Knitting: Needle Holder
So its a warm Tuesday afternoon. I decide to make a needle/case or book . The original inner piece ? Pfffft didnt like the look of it , one little bit , once that Id made the outer case, so I changed the inner liner, to look like the pages of a book ….clever eh.?.. its a book for needles :)
Knitting: Glasses Case
Another Jess inspired make . Well she will sing the Rainbow song, and I did have the yarn, and was at a loose ned …..
Knitting: Wall Hanging
My grand-daughter was singing one of her favourite Peppa Pig songs - Rainbow Rainbow - Red and Yellow and Green and Orange and Purple and BLUE ( with the emphasis on the blue)
Knitting: Mittens
Im a bit hazy about size, as I just tend to put the number of loops required to start a garment on my needles of choice and go ( it was the way I was taught) Having to think about whats needed to go into a written pattern isnt coming easy, but Im getting there.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The Beanie that goes with the socks, that will go with the mittens, possibly (if the mittens make an appearance)
Knitting: Booties
These socks came about as part of a conversation , that I had with my knitting friend and partner-in-crime :) I remarked, that I had some black and orangey coloured yarn, and “Wouldnt that look good as a pair of bee stripey socks…..” and so they , the socks, were born….
Knitting: Edging
This edgeing is a garter stitch pattern, that I made as, I needed a fairly broad border, with a row of eyelets as embellishment, to fit around the project I had just finished, in this case an Afghan made from large squares of either crochet or knitting.
Knitting: Costume
A simple pattern.made for my Granddaughter, so she could “turn me into a frog” :)
Knitting: Booties
This project uses small amounts of DK yarn , perhaps no more than 25g per pair.
Knitting: Brooch
A simple garter stitch poppy flower pin, with leaf detail.
