This pattern uses a traditional double crochet stitch grounded by a chain in the center of the möbius design.  Twisting the chain once before joining keeps the pattern moving constantly with no apparent beginning or end.  

Actually, the pattern is so easy it’s ridiculous! What makes The Shrug unique is the type of yarn I use. Because it’s multi-colored every shrug comes out different. If you choose to use the chain store yarn choice like Country Looms yarn you will have similar results as in the photo.

This is the original crochet pattern I created from trial and error. I tried some fancy things but I was looking to perfect a pattern that would be as easy as possible to work, since I prefer to crochet and hold a decent conversation with my husband or friends. I’ve done my best to give you a correct account of how I make it.
