Knitting: Headband
Released as part of a series honoring the French people, this simple pattern brings a smile to my face whenever I work on it. You can infinitely alter the pattern to meet your needs, from making it longer or shorter, to altering the stripe sequences, to making it wider for an earwarmer, suspenders, or bag strap.
Crochet: Accessory
Like our other foster dogs, Bear (pictured at the right) sometimes needs a little help to keep calm and carry on. By making a felt pad for essential oils, we can increase the likelihood of calmness while encountering new situations, like other dogs on a walk, staying home with our other dog, etc.

The Blue Lagoon brings up a lot of imagery for people. Some people think of the spa in Iceland. Some think of the movie (1980). Some think of their Caribbean vacation. Knitting: Cowl
A cute cowl for any occasion. This yarn is particularly thick and thin so this pattern would be great for a handspun yarn with lots of texture. I’ve added some great yarns as suggestions above.
Knitting: Accessories - Other
This pattern is great because it uses an unusual bind-off technique, and it is customizable from a waist-style apron to a full “cooking apron” style.
Crochet: Slippers
In case anyone needs more clarification on the pattern, there’s an additional blog post I made here. This is a pattern that starts in the round and ends flat.
Knitting: Earwarmers
This one was purely an exercise in how you can do this.
Knitting: Scarf
Quick and simple, this was the first and easiest pattern I’ve designed on the loom.
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
This purse is a great project to build some skills on the knitting loom by using multiple strands of yarn to create a firm, nearly ribbed looking fabric with double knit stockinette stitch and incorporating bead strings into your loom knitting.
