You will need to know how to do a spike double crochet stitch and a back post double crochet to complete this pattern.

I saw a design similar to this made out of canvas from a drug rep at my doctors office and thought, that would make a perfect hook caddy! So, I made my family eat some canned veggies (oh no!) and designed my own version!

the smaller ant measure 3 1/2 inches using 2 1/2 steins of embroidery floss and a 2/2.25mm steel hook. the black one measures 6 inches using red heart shimmer (i think, i used scrap) and a E/4-3.50mm hook. gauge is not important….make it as big or as small as you like.

0-6 months, use G - Hook, follow pattern

This pattern is for ages 2-8. If you want to make it for 0-6 months use a G - hook and for 6-18 month use H -hook, skip round 5, 12 and 13. Need a bigger hat, add a round of increases and 2-4 rounds at bottom of hat. Please enjoy!
