JUST IN TIME FOR FALL FIBER FESTIVAL SEASON!!!!

Update:

In 1978, I received a bell ornament in a gift exchange my freshman year at Western Kentucky University. I used that bell as inspiration for this crocheted design.

This sock pattern was created for teaching a top-down, simple cabled leg and foot with a heel flap and gusset. Detailed instructions are given for knitting on four double-pointed needles with re-arrangement of stitches as needed for ease of knitting the different parts of the sock.

This is a great pattern for using up scraps of worsted weight yarn! You only need 6 grams of yarn for the little hat, and 3 grams of yarn for the pom pom.
