Mira is the teacher of my first-grader. She’s the loveliest person on earth, and, as we say goodbye to her and the school, I wanted to give her something special.

Basic ribbed knee-highs with room for the calf with plain / striped texture, and a “spine” running in the middle.

I love lace and patterned socks, but they always drop down my leg. These have a little lacy pattern, but also ribbing that keeps them from dropping. Their name was inspired by the yarn I used.
