eBook : 4 patterns

Presented herein are four decidedly handsome pouches to be worn around the neck, to adorn the wearer. The designs are in their simplest forms, without embellishment. It is the countenance of the crocheter to employ color and decoration through beads, buttons, feathers, pearls and curious objects. Good strong cotton yarn is recommended. Use 6-ply or 8-ply cotton. Each pouch uses approximately 20 to 30 grams or no more than 75 meters of yarn. Instructions are written in US crochet terms.

This collection holds patterns for 11 bead-crochet jewellery and 2 scarves. The patterns are derived from a series of crochet jewellery patterns called “Natural Tendencies.” From the basic crochet lace strips, the addition of beads - in some cases replacing the picots - creates a new and delicate design. The last two patterns, worked in heavier weight yarn (fingering and aran), demonstrate the possibility of bringing delicate crochet lace to the creation of new items.

The idea for this eBook stems from my continuing desire to write patterns that people can use to make crochet items that they can give away as gifts or sell in their own handmade shops.

Did you ever want to make a crocheted pair of shorts but never did it because of complicated shaping? I feel you! :) So I made this design to get around that difficulty. This pattern requires no shaping or complex seaming, making it a suitable wearable beginner weekend project.
Crochet: Scarf
BAHI is an asymmetrical geometric pattern scarf, hand-crocheted in yak (natural dark brown colour) and silk-camel (natural light colour): this extraordinary design wears beautifully as a shawl, neck scarf or cowl. The drape and softness of yak and the blend of silk and camel is simply incomparable.
Crochet: Shrug / Bolero
This pattern (some 14 pages of instructions in a total of 20 pages) is not for the faint-hearted. The bolero consists of twenty-four join-as-you-go motifs, each one different.
Crochet: Poncho
Crochet this 3-way poncho/shawl which can also be worn as a head cover. It is an easy lace pattern to get accustomed to and stitch multiples are indicated so you can adjust the pattern to any size. Substitute with heavier weight yarn such as Worsted Weight for a poncho to wear on cooler evenings.
Crochet: Scarf
Worked in fine fingering weight yarn, the light and lacy texture of this scarf is created by using a larger hook. Choose light colors and soft blended yarns for best results.
Crochet: Vest
I made this long vest to wear over sheer dresses on cool summer evenings. The vest buttons on the front and is designed to open at the bottom to reveal your favorite long dress with that ultra sexy slit. Make it longer or shorter or trim with fringes for a boho style. Enjoy!
