A simple basic mitten pattern in French that I use to teach with

This is the chart I created to alter Kate Davis’s Paper Dolls pattern. You will need to purchase that pattern for the sweater instructions, this is only the turtle chart. The sizing can be altered by changing the number of background stitches between the turtles.

This pattern was developped as a Christmas present for my mom who loves roosters. After knitting the Vinterbloomster mittens I developped this pattern. The row gauge is not as important as the stitch gauge.

These Thrummed mittens are the result of my 8th pair of thrummed mitts for christmas 2008. I got bored with the regular pattern and decided to add a little interest.
