Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
It just keeps on raining.
Knitting: Cowl
Inspired by a Summer of Cycling and watching atheletes whizz around the Velodrome this is a quick to knit cowl. Perfect for a speedily knit gift; the pattern is easy to memorise.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These cute little mitts are perfect for using up left over sock yarns, knit them either as a single colour throughout or use up odds and ends with different colours for different sections. It works really nicely with hand dyed yarns with some variation in colours or shades.
Knitting: Cowl
This is one part of a pair of patterns: a Cowl knitted in 100 grams, approx 165 yards (151 metres) Aran/ 10ply, which will grow quickly to create a Posy which wraps around your neck. It makes use of a changing, pattern with each section flowing into the next. The second part of the pair is a lace weight Shawl which uses the motifs from this Cow...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This was originally released as a mystery KAL. The pattern is provided in both written and chart form.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This was designed to use up 2 part skeins of NDS precious silk that I loved. Other test knitters have used dk and fingering weight yarns in a mix of fibres from wool to linen. This pattern is quite adaptable to yarn and tension- work at a gauge that will provide a good drape when blocked.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern emerged after looking for ways to use up small scraps of yarn. The hoarder in me could not throw away those lengths of yarn after sewing up, particularly if it was yarn that had been hand-painted or perhaps was quite expensive. There are quite a few attractive scarves that use similar techniques; I would not claim to be the origina...
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This is a very quick and easy knit, hence being called ‘easy peasy’ knitted shrug. Well, rather a minimal shrug, more of a shoulder warmer. You can also push one arm tube through the other and wear it as a scarf: two for one.
