Knitting: Convertible Gloves
These warm mittens feature adorable wolf or fox faces, which fold back to free up your fingers. The glove is constructed in-the-round, with the flap knitted flat, using intarsia colorwork.

It’s a great quick project that’s not too tricky. I used pink, white and brown, making a chocolate/strawberry cupcake topped with a red cherry, but I think it would be cute in lots of other colors too. Note: I don’t have an exact gauge for this pattern, but it shouldn’t matter too much!

Inspired by the waves of the Hawaiian coast, this triangle kerchief is constructed by casting on and off stitches to make evenly spaced holes. The “cast-off” decreases are easy and create a nice wavy edge. In a beautiful seafoam shade of bamboo-wool blend yarn, this is a perfect scarf for anytime of the year!
