ERRATA: In some versions of the printed pattern made available at shows & events, the chart in row 10 shows a purl stitch at the end of the 32 stitch repeat. This should be a knit stitch. The written instructions are correct. We apologize for any inconvenience.

This hat has been made mostly with remnants of fibers from other (larger) projects. We have seen it in worsted weight, DK and with 2 sock yarns held together.
