Knitting: Skirt
My grand-daughter asked for a twirly skirt in rainbow colours so I adapted a couple of patterns and came up with this made with Stylecraft Special DK. I purchased 7 x 100g balls and there have been 4 skirts made from that amount!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I have been using this pattern from the top of my head to make hats to match my ‘Pretty Simple Bootees’ and so many people have asked for the pattern that I though it was about time I added it!
Knitting: Booties
I have been looking for the ‘perfect bootees’ for a long time. I needed a simple pattern with eyelets to add ties. Having used several different patterns I decided to use the best parts of each one and adapt them to suit my needs and came up with these ‘Pretty Simple Bootees’.
Knitting: Headwear - Other
This is a simple crown for toddlers, initially made for my grand-daughter but it had so many compliments and people asking for the pattern that I decided to add it to Ravelry.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This bolero was made for my great niece who is 2 years old but it can be shortened or lengthened to fit other ages. It’s a top down knit - almost in one piece! There’s no seaming involved, the sleeves are done on magic loop by picking up stitches left on a waste yarn holder.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern was designed whilst I was watching my nephew on a UK quiz programme on Channel 4 called Countdown. I started it the first day he was on and finished on the last day so it’s only fitting that I name it after a feature in the programme - The Conundrum!
