Since when did “snowflake” become an insult? Or maybe a compliment, as “snowflake” seems to be a term used against people who are kind, decent, caring - basically, human. So here’s a subtle statement hat for snowflakes everywhere; inspired by traditional knitting styles of the British Isles - Fair Isle and ganseys.

When we go to wool shows, with our repros of Dales 19thC gloves, people always say how lovely the traditional Northern English gloves are, but how they don’t have the patience or time to knit on 1.5mm needles. Yet, they’d love something similar…
Knitting: Doll Clothes - Other
Dress for 6” Hitty type doll. Knitted with any leftovers of 2 ply Laceweight yarn. I used YarnAddict’s pure silk lace which has been in my stash for so many years, I’m not sure it’s still made but the precise laceweight you use, is not important.

No longer available on Blacker Yarns site so I put it here. This would work in any DK woollen/wool mix yarn - or guernsey 5 ply. I have no idea of yardage but have made these from leftovers of 100g balls of DK.
