Knitting: Cowl
I love the movement of Brioche Stitches and I wanted to experiment with that movement while using easier knitting stitches. The brioche and garter stitch have a zig-zag movement which makes for a cool cowl and a fun knit.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I have a total love affair with knitting circular shawls. I love everything about them the designs, the math, (yeah, the math… I said it) the drama of the piece. The only thing I dislike is wearing them, do you fold them in half and loose showing off your work?
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Cables I love the look of them, but I tend to choose a project where I can find a faster knitting rhythm. I decided because of current events a pick a project that can tune out the world focus and on to something, I can control. A cabled sock pattern with an intricate cable pattern is exactly what I need- small needles and cables… lots and lots...

I had a few half balls of Lanaloft Worsted taking up space in the old stash. I wanted a fun, easy, TV watching project a whipped up this cowl! Use two colors or use one color throughout and mix up the contrasting colors! I used two colors of Lanaloft Worsted, but you could mix up textures and color and make this design your own!

I designed Bring Me Wine; Now, Leave Me socks for my mom for Christmas. Hey, I designed her a pair of socks! I shouldn’t have to clean either.)
