Knitting: Edging
I love the way a shawl or collar can drape & fall in folds, but I don’t like seeing the wrong side of the knitting. This cable pattern started life as a scribble on the back of an envelope. I couldn’t find anything similar to my imaginary shawl edging so this was born. It is time consumng to work because there are cables on nearly every row ...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
An L-shaped wrap with both legs being the same length. It is formed using modular L shapes, created by knitting lace entrelac rectangles. The 2 lines of entrelac L shapes are separated by garter stitch squares. Cables & lace decorate this sideways knitted wrap, shaped with short rows.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
Another flower shaped dishcloth. The petals are knitted first using short rows in one continuous strip, then joined in the round & the centre filled in with a texture stitch related to pebble stitch.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
Cotton dishcloth with a border knitted out from stitches picked up around the edges of the centre square.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
Charted cloth with bobbles & lace. It was originally designed by my little girl as her new face cloth, so it is smaller than other dishcloths.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
A charted dishcloth design of 2 lace flowers with nupps for petals, surrounded by an oval shaped moss stitch border.
