Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This is a simple lacy halter top for little girls. It begins with a horizontal lace band that is stitched together to form the bottom edge then stitches are picked up along the straight edge and the body is knit in the round until the back half stitches are cast off and work continues on the front stitches. The top edge is folded over and bound...
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
Short-sleeved, cropped cardigan/shrug. Open in the front except for a ribbed empire waistband holding it closed. Knit mainly in gravel stitch, the ‘skirt’ beneath the waistband is knit in stockinette. Loops of chained crochet stitches finish off the bottom hem while crocheted picot points line the deep vee neckline.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks

Once that hurdle is overcome, the rest is smooth sailing!
Knitting: Dress
This is a simple, sleeveless, A-line dress for baby girls and toddlers, with a basic fairisle pattern of waves. It’s available in 12-18 months, 2T, and 3T. Gauge is 6 stitches = an inch, in stockinette. Three colors of cotton or cotton-blend yarn (2 shades of blue, and a neutral beige) are needed.
