Knitting: Thigh-high
My father trains hunting dogs, I grew up in a very rural area and have a deep love of nature. I am now a city girl but I definitely feel nostalgic at times and I love the feel and the aesthetic of that hunting, woodsy, outdoor culture. These socks are a little piece of my county home in the city, well not the city if you’re out in the wood...
Knitting: Dress
Foxy Dress, foxes, get it? huh? huh? I love a pun, I hope you enjoy my Foxy Dress as much as I enjoyed making it. Although there is an obvious humour to this piece, it is a very fitted, feminine dress.
Knitting: Legwarmers, Beanie, Toque
This pattern is a great stash buster, it uses up those little pesky odds and ends left over from your previous projects.
Knitting: Pullover
I was inspired by an old mother goose nursery, “Hi-Ho a Carrion Crow”. I love making charts that have no repeat, there is something special about a sweater being unique from all sides.
Knitting: Christmas Stocking
This year, I put up my first Christmas tree at my own apartment. I needed a stocking and had a lovely doodle for an ornate snowflake. I wanted a little glitter and I found this wonderful gold cone yarn in the basement at Romni wools. I hope you enjoy my little bit of holiday cheer.
Knitting: Pullover
I like a little irony in my knitting. I got a huge kick out of the idea of knitting moths out of wool. I love knitting fair isles and voila, “tempting fate” was born. The gauge of the yarn used will determine the sizing of the sweater.
