Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern helps showcase all those fabulous multi-color yarns you have in your stash. Worked in the round on dpns. Knit in a silk/merino blend, these fingerless mitts are like a hug for your hands.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
When my brother’s friend asked for a “sweet beanie” to wear while he worked, I quickly got out my needles and yarn. Thus, I designed this hat for wandering around the winter beauty in Yosemite National Park. The design features a twisted rib brim and slipped stitches worked as a cable motif.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A simple, yet stylish, winter hat. Brim is worked flat, then hat is joined into the round.
Knitting: Ankle Sock, Socks - Other
Designed for the Socks Revived Contest hosted by Elinor of Exercise Before Knitting.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I knit these socks for my father in law after a flurry of post Thanksgiving knitting. Just like the shopping event, they worked up quickly and make a great gift.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
A swirling slip-stitch pattern, designed to work with hand-painted yarns, creates lots of visual interest all by itself. Dropped yarn over’s give length to the slipped stitches so the pattern doesn’t pull in.
