As I was knitting this it started to remind me of laurel wreaths hence the name.

I use this pattern in my Intro to Lace class. I think it is the perfect first lace project because after establishing the pattern you are basically just working longer versions of the same two rows. It could easily be extended into a giant cozy shawl if you’re feeling ambitious!

Inspired by both the Italian Milan, home of Missoni & the nearby farm town of Milan (MY-lin) I think this wrap is the right mix of forward looking enough to wear to the city & cozy enough for the farmer’s market.

These are the perfect boot socks, with re-knittable heels & toes when the inevitable holes develop.
