This pattern can be used for any size dog coat by adjusting yarn weight and hook size. For a small - medium size coat I use 8 ply yarn with a 3.5 mm hook. For a larger coat I use 12 ply yarn with a 5 mm hook. It just depends on the size of the dog you are making it for.

This pattern is made to fit 275mm wire rings. The pattern is easily adaptable to bigger or smaller size, once you understand the increasing and decreasing techniques used. I use strings of battery powered LED lights as the light source. I use 100 bud light strings in warm white.

This pattern has been designed to fit Fluted Jars that you can purchase from Kmart. They are easily adaptable to other size jars.
