Crochet: Chart
I made this blanket as a request for a friend. I made it entirely in single crochet. This pattern is not for the fainthearted. There are lots of color changes, and lots of ends to weave in. I like to share my patterns, so I’m putting it up for completeness. But don’t say I didn’t warn you!

The chart is zoomed in on the area where color changes occur - the chart is 65 rows tall and 160 stitches wide, but the color changes only occur in the center 120 stitches. Crochet: Chart
Chart is zoomed in on the area of the blanket where color changes occurred. You could do this in Tunisian crochet or single crochet. I chose Tunisian for the cleaner edge.
Crochet: Afghan block
For me, this made an 18” x 18” square. I used an L hook, worsted weight yarn, and Tunisian crochet. You could use this pattern to make something with single crochet or knit, but your project may end up varying in size.

Two charts are now included - one which is for the whole blanket and another which is only the portion of the blanket in which you’re working the letter “A.”
