Knitting: Baby Blanket
I worked out this simple pattern for our Ravelry group, We Care - Maine, to use for our charity knitting. It is designed to be as large as possible using one 200g skein of yarn. So do not worry if it comes out a bit short. It doesn’t matter!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I worked out these 32 stitch socks in several different yarn types and combinations for my charity knitting. The sizes range from 6.25 to 9 inch foot. I’m hoping that posting the pattern free here will inspire more charity knitting.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I worked out these 28 stitch socks with a waffle stitch pattern in several different yarns and yarn combinations for my charity knitting. The sizes range from 6 to 8 inch foot. I’m hoping that posting the free pattern here will inspire more charity knitting.
Knitting: Vest
I designed this vest for charity knitting. It was originally published as the Vest of the Month for July of 2006 on the Warm Woolies web site. Since they have gone out of business, I thought perhaps charity knitters might like to have access to the pattern here.
Knitting: Vest
This vest is knit using worsted or aran weight wool double stranded. You could also use a bulky weight wool if it has no more than 90 to 100m per 100g. This makes a very warm vest for children who live in cold climates.
