This pattern is a great stash buster. I used worsted weight and you can use what ever you want just make sure it is the same weight for the entire blanket. You can make any size you want. The one pictures fits a full size bed with one square hang over on both sides and the end. By doing them on point it creates its own edging.

Sorry this one is not a mindless knitting project. You must pay close attention to what side your on and where your colors are in the pattern. With that said I love the way it looks.

This pattern is a modified moss stitch that pleasantly turned into what looks like a basket weave.
