Knitting: Mittens, Bonnet
Who doesn’t love a baby wearing a bonnet?
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves, Headband
When I first picked up a ball of this yarn, it was as soft as a hug, so I knew I would have to make something with it. The mitts and headband can be made from only two balls, making them a little bit of luxury for everyday.
Knitting: Cowl
ALBERTA FLOOD RELIEF FUNDRAISER
Knitting: Cowl
Worked in a deliciously soft merino/cashmere blend, this cowl is tall enough to pull up around your head and soft enough to wear around your neck. Short rows add a gentle curve, making the back taller than the front.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These charming beaded mitts were inspired by a friend who my children call Miss Honey. The pattern has 3 sizes and can be customized with either a long or short length cuff. The beads add just a little hint of opulence. So go on – spoil yourself!!!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pretty little shawlette consists of 5 triangular panels featuring a branching lace pattern. The shape makes for a shawl which wraps comfortably around and yet is still long enough to cover your shoulders
Knitting: Cuffs
A pretty beaded cuff, which uses a lustrous yarn and glass beads for some pure luxury for your wrists.
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
This bag was designed for a class to learn the Intarsia technique for colourwork. It features 3 abstract designs based on the flags of England, Canada and UK and offers both simple shapes and a motif to help master the technique. (Only the first two designs are shown)
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat features a broken rib pattern, which climbs up the front of the hat to a point. It knits up quickly in a soft worsted yarn and has the potential to become your new favourite hat!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is the third part of the Forestry Collection.
Knitting: Cowl
The rainforest building at the local zoo is full of wonderful colours and textures, not least of which are the moss growths on the rocks and a curtain of vines cascading from the ceiling down to the water level.

The Coriolis Effect is a deflection of moving objects when viewed in a rotating reference frame. It is the reason that cyclones rotate in either an anti-clockwise or clockwise direction depending on whether you are in the northern or southern hemisphere. The spiral arm pattern on this hat is reminiscent of the swirling shape of a cyclone seen f...
Knitting: Scarf
As a child, summertime meant playing outside for hours, hanging out with friends, climbing trees and having fun. When there were enough of you to play a game of football (soccer), you would pick teams and use your jumpers (sweaters) for goal posts. The phrase is often used in the UK to evoke the carefree summers of childhood.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a cowl WITH TEETH!!
Knitting: Tissue Box Cover
A great stash-busting item, which knits up in an evening. The decorative pattern is simple enough to try as a first fair-isle project. Pattern is written with a chart for the colourwork.
Knitting: Hot Water Bottle
This pattern contains two versions of a hot water bottle cover/cosy, which share the same design on the back. It is quick and easy to make and would be an ideal gift for someone.
Knitting: Scarf
A simple kids scarf in a basketweave stitch pattern which benefits from being made in a smooth yarn.
