Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Knitting: Scarf
Inspired by a type of medieval veil, the pleated (or goffered) edge of this crescent shaped neck scarf adds interest, whimsy and texture to a functional and fashionable accessory. The scarf is knit lengthwise, using short-rows and increases for shaping. A unique twisted edging at the neck takes advantage of the natural tendency of knit fabric to...
Knitting: Cardigan
Sequoia is a simple yet elegant open-front cardigan knit up in a rich autumn color palette. The design combines the hand-painted ombré Canyon colorway with coordinating Red Oxide semi-solid. All sizes use two balls of the ombré yarn to ensure that you will get the full spectrum of the gradient throughout the sweater without having extra yarn go ...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This generously sized, bias knit wrap makes clever use of two complementary ombre colorways. Simple eyelet bands add interest to the corner sections while a dramatic feather and fan slide section shows off a contrasting color. Choosing color combinations is as addictive as the knitting!

Concentric Garter Stitch Triangles with a Neon Accent Create a Modern Triangular Shawl
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
For this shawl I was inspired by the concept of interlocking palm leaves. I chose two contrasting Ombré shades for the first sample, in dark colors of greys and black with a pop of yellow.
Knitting: Cowl
Combining short rows and a fan and feather variation creates expanding segments of perfectly placed color in this wavy hourglass shaped cowl.
Knitting: Pullover
This mermaid inspired sweater combines fair-isle patterning with the magic of ombré yarn. The bright mint fish-scale pattern on the yoke and sleeves blends slowly into a deep grey-green body. The sweater is knit from the top down in one piece, so there are no seams to sew and you can try it on and adjust the fit as you go.
Knitting: Cowl
Mitered knitting is an easy way to play with color. This cowl can be made with either one or two balls of yarn.
Knitting: Cowl
Super fun and easy cowl knit flat. Begun with a provisional cast on, finished with 3 needles bind off. Cowl showcases slow transitioning gradient yarns, using two contrasting yarns that finish at one end with the same color. Pattern is free on our Instagram feed freiafibers
Knitting: Cowl
Taller in the front, shorter in the back, makes this cowl comfortable no matter how many layers you have on and gives you warmth where you need it most. Worked in a simplified short row pattern on circular needles with stitches dropped at the end of the project to create a broad rib pattern. Quick, fun and just one ball of yarn, pattern gives in...

The Sideliner Vest, by designer Sarah Lucas, is a fun and flattering color-blocked design. This pattern combines different types of ribbing and multi-directional knitting to create a cinched in waistline with the narrower vertical rib and a roomy bust area with the wider rib in horizontal striping. Every area is individually worked to break up t...
Knitting: Vest
The Chokki Vest is a great little layering piece to add to your autumn wardrobe. The multi-directional knitting and the use of two different types of ribbing add interesting detail to a simple silhouette. The back of the vest is divided into two halves, with a different color direction and rib pattern on each. The front panels overlap at the cen...
