Knitting: Sleeveless Top
Hit the festival circuit, the garden party or the beach in Cigne – a fun lacy halter top worked in one Freia Superwash Sport full size ball and two matching Minikins for the bra cups. Shaped cups ensure good coverage, and a hidden elastic attached below the bust keeps the fit snug at the body. The top is worked in the round to the upper rib cag...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The placement of the shaping (increases) is dictated by the random number generator you will use while working this shawl. No two shawls will ever be the same, but they will all be equally beautiful and engaging to knit. This is a great project to practice your brioche stitches, working only one color at a time in a reversible design.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
We love this honeycomb stitch so much that we went head to toe with it! Here’s the Asali Beanie worked in the familiar stitch we did in the matching Asali Shawl and Asali Socks. This cute hat knits up in a couple of evenings using two contrasting Superwash Sport Merino Minikins.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The Asali socks are worked using contrasting colors to enhance the raised honeycomb pattern. In this case the pattern is worked from each end of the same ball of our gradient yarn in the Sobek colorway, a high contrast gradient from one end to the other.
Knitting: Pullover
This garment is knit in 4 pieces with shaping at the side seams. The sleeves are saddle shoulder style. The collar is picked up and knit after seaming.
Knitting: Cowl
A one-ball project designed specifically for our oversized Shaniko Superwash Worsted gradient yarn. This is a fun project that wonderfully shows off all the lovely qualities of this yarn, the slow-changing gradient, the plumpness and softness of the yarn, the stitch definition as well as the extended yardage.
Knitting: Scarf
The Highlands Scarf is inspired by the expansive views of the infinite rolling hills in the Berkshires where I live as well as my memories of travels through the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. That these mountains and valleys were linked a hundred million years ago is no surprise given their similar appearance.
Knitting: Scarf
Finished size approximately 76” long and 15” wide ( cast-on edge to point).
Knitting: Baby Blanket
Bambino brings together two of my favorite stitch patterns – the zigzag and the fan and feather. Both patterns are created with increasing and decreasing your stitches but one has a very different look from the other. Both are easy enough to memorize to make this a fun, casual knitting project.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Worked from cast-on edge/corner out, increasing stitches along one edge. One color is used at a time with the pattern created in an easy to memorize slip-stitch. A loose rib border is worked in the final step. You will use all the yarn available to you, but your size may vary based on gauge. Shawl will grow substantially with blocking, so check...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Stop traffic with this bold graphic! Vice Versa is a semi-circular shawl worked in 2 contrasting minikin colors - seen here in 3 balls each of Aurora and Harvest. This makes a lovely soft shawl that’s easy to style as a multitude of ways as a scarf or if you prefer, use a pin at the neck to create a cape. Knit using a very basic short row repea...
Knitting: Cowl, Beanie, Toque
I named this pattern Oscilla as the rhythmic slipstitch repeat is like a slow wave or oscillation as you work each round. This is an easy to follow pattern, using only one yarn at a time.
Knitting: Cowl
This cozy cowl is made with two-color brioche in alternating gradient yarns and a stepped columnar pattern.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Here’s a fun topper to chase off the chill, knit in our lovely plump Worsted wool yarn in a simple easy to memorize fair isle pattern. This hat is written in 3 sizes but can be further adjusted as needed by modifying the repeat. A nice full pompom is made at the end from all the remaining gradient yarn. Uses one gradient and one semi-solid cont...

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Mirrored and offset purl ridges on a knit background, sporadically broken by a zigzag Fletch patterning for a stylish asymmetrical shawl
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I like the form follows function design concept and so does nature. In this design, inspired by the angle shades moth, the center triangle, the “body”, naturally creates a shaping for the “wings”, making the shawl easier to wear. And the mitered triangles take full advantage of the color in the yarns, adding a little ornament to the form.
Knitting: Scarf, Shawl / Wrap
Gradients transition along a long arrow shape for a fun scarf or dramatic wrap. Two ombré colourways are worked in a simple intarsia pattern. Tassels dangle from each of the corners.

Inspired by a type of medieval veil, the pleated (or goffered) edge of this crescent shaped neck scarf adds interest, whimsy and texture to a functional and fashionable accessory. The scarf is knit lengthwise, using short-rows and increases for shaping. A unique twisted edging at the neck takes advantage of the natural tendency of knit fabric t...
Knitting: Cardigan
Sequoia is a simple yet elegant open-front cardigan knit up in a rich autumn color palette. The design combines the hand-painted ombré Canyon colorway with coordinating Red Oxide semi-solid. All sizes use two balls of the ombré yarn to ensure that you will get the full spectrum of the gradient throughout the sweater without having extra yarn go...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This generously sized, bias knit wrap makes clever use of two complementary ombre colorways. Simple eyelet bands add interest to the corner sections while a dramatic feather and fan slide section shows off a contrasting color. Choosing color combinations is as addictive as the knitting!

Concentric Garter Stitch Triangles with a Neon Accent Create a Modern Triangular Shawl
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
For this shawl I was inspired by the concept of interlocking palm leaves. I chose two contrasting Ombré shades for the first sample, in dark colors of greys and black with a pop of yellow.

Knitting: Pullover
This mermaid inspired sweater combines fair-isle patterning with the magic of ombré yarn. The bright mint fish-scale pattern on the yoke and sleeves blends slowly into a deep grey-green body. The sweater is knit from the top down in one piece, so there are no seams to sew and you can try it on and adjust the fit as you go.
Knitting: Cowl
Combining short rows and a fan and feather variation creates expanding segments of perfectly placed color in this wavy hourglass shaped cowl.
Knitting: Cowl

Taller in the front, shorter in the back, makes this cowl comfortable no matter how many layers you have on and gives you warmth where you need it most. Worked in a simplified short row pattern on circular needles with stitches dropped at the end of the project to create a broad rib pattern. Quick, fun and just one ball of yarn, pattern gives i...
