Knitting: Slippers
After a hard days work it’s nice to come home and slide into something light, soft, and comfy. This pair of slippers is super easy to knit, with a tiny bit of crochet finishing detail (single crochet).
Knitting: Slippers
Reminiscent of my favorite pair of sandals, these slippers are super comfy and slip on easily. The more you wear them, the better they fit! These are very fast to knit and would make wonderful gifts for sandal/slipper lovers or great items to sell at Craft shows/Bazaars/Farmer’s Market. Simply knit in pieces and easily whip-stitched together, t...

Knitting: Slippers
I have a few felted clog/slip-on type slipper patterns, the difference with this one is that it is knit sideways and would be considered more of a beginners pattern.
Knitting: Scarf
“Gallatin Scarf” named after the beautiful Gallatin Valley where I lived. Worked from the bottom up, this scarf works up fairly quickly using worsted weight yarn and size 10 1/2 needles. A simple repeat in the pattern makes this fairly mindless - a great car project.
Knitting: Slippers
While riding in the car one day, I had a set of #10 DPNs and some bulky yarn…“hmm” said to self, “what can I make in the 2 hour drive to Billings….”

Knitting: Slippers
My kids wore Vanns sneakers, that’s all they’d wear for years. I decided to come up with a slipper pattern that had the look of Vans. Here is what I came up with. I am very pleased with how they came out. They have a nice fit, don’t slip at the heel and are very stretchy and cushy.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a ziggity-zaggity hat. I love making ripples and was inspired to make a hat using them. This is what I came up with. I think it is reminiscent of a 1930’s look for some reason. This is a simple zig-zag/ripple all in garter stitch except for a few rows of stockinette to finish it up at the crown. The use of a varigated yarn as the main y...
