Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is another hand knitted version of the commercially available C.C beanie that is very popular. I designed it based on photos a friend had sent me of the original beanie. I realized there were quite a few versions on ravelry but decided to go ahead and publish my version as well just in case it fits someone’s need!
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
Provenance is a lightweight top that can be worn alone or as a layer and is a simple project done in stocking stitch with a bit of garter stitch at the neck. It looks good with jeans, a skirt, or over a dress.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Babar’s mitts feature a simple stocking stitch pattern with thumb gusset and rolled edges. They can be knitted in as many or as few colours as desired. Use a solid, a variegated, stripes or colour blocks to use up small amounts of fingering weight stash.

Long fingerless mitts for the cold sunny days in the Colorado Rockies or for walking the dog on the streets of Manhattan. These colourful striped mitts will take you anywhere! Wear them long to warm your wrists and arms or slouch them for a pop of colour at your jacket cuff.
Knitting: Headband
This is a simple cabled headband that is written to be knitted in a worsted weight yarn and uses up relatively small amounts of leftover yarn.
