This pattern makes a replica of Oluwande’s hat in the TV show Our Flag Means Death. The hat will sit low on the head (as opposed to the one in the show).

This pattern’s main feature is a chart. It mentions every technique used, but it has no description for the technique. For example “make a Latvian braid”.

This pattern is inspired by the early 1940’s bohus knitting sweaters. The shape, fit and gauge is worked out from a private collection of several original Bohus knitting sweaters owned by Margareta Backström, who has also given this pattern it’s name “Maggan”.
