This scarf has NO cast on, NO bind off, and NO purling. It is worked in an easy to memorize mesh pattern done in garter stitch with a nice, neat edging. It makes a great travel project -- only 1 ball of yarn, hardly any counting, and no long rows. I used fingering weight yarn, but it should work in any weight yarn that makes a fabric you like.
