Knitting: Cowl
This lace pattern reminds me of the foothills around the mountains where I live. Lots of small rolling hills with valleys interspersed. I think it would be fun knit with every section a different color too.
Knitting: Cowl
Mosaic color work combined with garter stripes make an interesting accessory. The perfect cover for air-conditioned spaces or when you just need a little extra color. Sample is made with Malabrigo Dos Tierras
Knitting: Cowl
I love mosaic color work, but sometimes I don’t want the whole project to be in the pattern. I think this cowl really accents the color work by changing colors & isolating the design areas.

This is a great combination of being interesting enough to keep you knitting & a way to show off a spectacular yarn. In the high country where the wind blows cold, we call these neck warmers “Rippy Joes”. The sample uses one skein of Merino Textura yarn by Plymouth yarns.

Switch-backs & steep climbs are how the roads get through the mountains in Wyoming. My matching Mountain Roads Hat pattern creates the same effect with mosaic color work.
Knitting: Coaster
Mosaic color work is stripes with a design added in, you only use one color for each row. Mosaic often forms angular shapes; I love the undulation of these waves for mosaic color work and a different look.

Short row shaping divided by Latvian braids make this cute hat very versatile. It can be made with 2 or more yarns, as neutral or as bright as you like.
Knitting: Cloche Hat, Beanie, Toque
When we need hats, why not make them interesting? This is a great banded Cloche to show off that special button you have been saving. I knew what I wanted to make as soon as I saw this stitch pattern. It’s an interesting way to dress up the utilitarian beanie too. The band is knit flat & then joined to knit the top of the hat in the round. ...

Have fun & play with some color!! I love mosaic color work, but sometimes I don’t want the whole project to be in the pattern. I think this hat really accents the color work by changing colors & isolating the design areas. Sample is made with Berroco Ultra Alpaca. Photo tutorial included.

These are the patterns I get the most compliments on, so I am offering them as an e-book for you to create your own favorite set.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The 2-step is an old, popular dance step in the Western US. This pattern reminds me of the cowboy (the masculine cables) in his newest jeans & shirt & the cowgirl (the lace) in her best dress moving around the dance floor to a great western song.
Knitting: Earflap Hat, Beanie, Toque
Make life easier for new moms & no ties for baby to choke on! This is just a little soft love to keep the new little one from getting chilled.
Knitting: Cowl

Knitting: Beret, Tam
This hat is a great first time lace knitter’s project & uses the same lace pattern as my Low Tide Mitts. Nature creates her own patterns with water & wind, this lace pattern reminds me of patterns in the sand at the ocean’s edge, or Lava flow that is cooling by using a color like Marte in Malabrigo Yarn, Rastita
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I love the designs of nature, this lace pattern reminds me of a riverbank or lake shore that shows up when the water level drops. They are wonderful, soothing designs that the waves have left in the bank. I made mine out of silky soft merino so it envelopes your hands in warmth like a warm water.

No need to confuse beginners with Double Points or Magic loop, this easy fingerless mitten can be knit on 9” circulars & teaches increases for the thumb gusset & a stretchy bind off for the hand. Both thumb gussets are the same, so no right or left glove to worry about.
Knitting: Scarf
This one skein neck warmer will add a breath of spring to your winter. The flower closure & trellis design will keep the chill away. It is designed with an I-cord edge to give the lightweight scarf added body & the easy slipped stitch mosaic pattern adds interest around your neck.
Knitting: Mittens
Felted Mittens don’t let the cold wind get to your hands.

Knitting: Tote, Messenger Bag, Purse / Handbag
I couldn’t find a pattern that had only an accent of entrelac, so I made my own. It has been popular in my local area & I have taught a class for this bag, some of the photos are from the class.
