Since writing this pattern, I have realized that the yarn I used may be a difficult yarn to find and substitute. As such, I have added information for a worsted yarn with a gauge of 5 stitches/7 rows to the inch, which is more widely available. That info is shown below:
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This Baby Blanket pattern was created for one of the caregivers who took such good care of my dad during his final days. I wanted to create something special for the arrival of her first baby.
Knitting: Christmas Stocking
This Knit Christmas Stocking Pattern uses the broken-rib stitch for a little bit of a pattern and Sirdar Alpine for a soft and lovely faux fur cuff.
Knitting: Throw
This Knitted Blanket Pattern uses the half-linen stitch and is trimmed with a faux fur applied i-cord. Optional instructions to finish this blanket with seed stitch instead of the faux fur applied i-cord are also included.
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
This Knit Purse Pattern uses the Half-Linen Stitch for the body of the purse. This easy to make handbag is lined and features detachable leather handles for easy washing.
Knitting: Throw
I knit this blanket using flag poles, which measured 32mm (1 1/4) in diameter. The manufacturer recommends a US15, which I found a little too snug.
Knitting: Pillow / Cushion
The Bernat Maker Big is the perfect and economical yarn for this pouf cube pattern. Not only is it available in a variety of lovely colors, but it is also a joy to knit with and holds up well in this pouf.
Knitting: Throw
The Diagonal Basket Weave stitch is way up there in terms of my favorite stitches. It’s relatively easy but produces a woven fabric that looks like it was much harder to knit than it actually was.
Knitting: Throw
Lovely blanket knit with the linen stitch and finished with a crochet edge and tassels
Knitting: Christmas Stocking
This chunky Christmas stocking knits up so quickly and can be spiffied up with pompoms or left without them.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This oh so sweet baby blanket worked up quickly with the clover eyelet stitch and is finished with a clover/trefoil crochet edging that is the icing on the cake…I’m all about a beautiful border.
