Knitting: Pullover
The Feeling Lucky Pulli is knit from one sleeve to the other in one piece, adorned with the simple wishbone cable stitch up each arm. Simply beautiful!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
A quick and easy to make - knit a pair in an evening for a quick handmade gift! Substitute any worsted yarn, great stash buster.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This is a loose fitting heart motif shrug made of washable merino wool. It’s warm, soft and cozy - like wrapping yourself up in a hug of love :) Just imagine the world wrapped up in one big love shrug. Now would that be something?
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This easy knitting pattern is written for knitting on straight needles (or circular) and then sewn with a seam up the back. You can also knit on double pointed needles to avoid the seam sewing. You would just knit every row rather than knit and purl.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
The great thing about this piece, as with the Simple Knit Shrug I designed for ladies, is that you can make adjustments for sleeve length and back width as needed. As long as you place markers evenly where the seams are to be sewn, and mirror what you do on one sleeve for the other, it should turn out great.
Knitting: Toeless Sock
Instructions are for 3 sizes based on my gauge. Length may vary according to your preference and foot size.
Knitting: Sports Equipment
This pattern incorporates stripes to designate the number of the golf club. The pattern consists of ribbing for the shaft, an increase row and stockinette stitch for the body (with stripes along the way), then a row to decrease at the end and gather the stitches with a needle to close. Of course the fun part is making pompoms!
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
You can choose to do 3/4 length sleeves as I did or longer. It’s an easy pattern to make fit your body.
Knitting: Throw
Instant Gratification? That’s what The Bertha Blanket is not. This hand knit throw requires patience and nothing more. If you’re up for the challenge as I was, 24,000 love stitches later you’ll hold in your hands the most wonderfully, soft, luxurious blanket ever.
