Festa is a triangle shawl designed to be a happy knitting pattern. This shawl started with I-cord liked border stitches and stockinette, then work with easily remembered pattern, simple color changing and I-cord bind off. The pattern also include an instruction so you can adjusted the shawl to any size of your preference.

The swirl shape was inspired by a pattern of an ancient Chinese eaves tile. I tried to mimic the look of it, and it turns out a good look as a beret.

The diamond band pattern was inspired by vine swirling on a tree in my father’s garden. I placed seed stitch inside the diamond pattern to keep it not boring for knitting, apart from adding texture, those seed stitches also represent the life of plant.
