Knitting: Scarf, Cowl
What If is a three stitch, two row pattern repeat. It is probably the first pattern that I ever came up with, but after I finished the project I failed to write down what I did and had to recreate it years later.
Knitting: Cowl
There is a joke in our knitting group that half of us knit things because there is a badge for that. This joke stems from the wonderful Yarnatron that Eat.Sleep.Knit runs every year. Last year when I wanted to earn the colorwork badge I wrote this pattern.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is designed with the Two Black Sheep Ombre Fingering in mind. Any fingering weight yarn with a minimum of 480 yards would work.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
When I was perusing patterns for this gorgeous yarn there just wasn’t one that fit quite right for me. After much hemming and hawing I decided that I had to design a pattern, even if I didn’t want to. Thus the play on words for the pattern name.
Knitting: Cowl
The Trifecta Cowl was created as a result of me wanting to play with a few techniques and some gorgeous yarn from a local indie dyer, Two Black Sheep.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Dream On is knitted on the bias with pops of color added throughout. The size is perfect to wrap around you on a chilly summer evening or to ward off the office air conditioner.
Knitting: Cowl
A simple pattern that lets the yarn do all the work.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern was created to help represent the two main characters in Sherlock. The pattern starts with a Watson-like fleur de lis and then progresses to a Sherlock-like fleur de lis, smiley face included. There are also instructions on just having a smiley face to represent Sherlock.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is based on a stitch pattern I dreamed up early on in my knitting days. It incorporates cables, decreases and yarn overs to create a stitch pattern with a backbone appearance.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern was written when I was on a knit retreat and wanted to buy some yarn, but had already bought a lot of yarn around that time. I made a deal with myself that if I wrote a pattern for that yarn I could buy it. As I progressed on the original scarf my knit group kept requesting the pattern. So, here it is.
