This nice little blanket can be knitted in any yarn quality and weight. It’s good for reducing your stash and also great for using up all those leftovers. For the example shown, I used 4-ply sock yarn, a circular knitting needle size 3.5 mm (US 4) and worked with two threads held together.

This warm and cozy beanie/toque is knitted in rounds from the brim to the crown. With needle size 4.5mm it easily can be finished in two or three evenings that makes it a great ‘last minute’ present too.
