Knitting: Cowl
This cowl, finished on Christmas Day 2015 was made especially for my daughter Angelica, hence the name: Angel Like. She doesn’t (nor do I) like things too close to our necks, which makes this cowl perfect as is or add/remove stitches in increments of 4 to make it wider or narrower.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
Toe Up Anklets in 2 sizes 56(64), easily modified by a factor of 8 stitches, using traveling cables that always “Turn Right” and wrap your foot in comfort. Heel is worked on Needle 2 only: The heel uses the Shadow Stitch, which uses twin stitches (and triplets) instead of a Wrap and Turn. I found it easy to use, as I hope you will too.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Fingerless mitts worked over an 8 stitch pattern repeat with continuous cables always Turning Right. While I recommend 9” circulars, DPN’s will also work well, however the pattern may become fiddly with Magic Loop.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is an asymmetrical shawl using any weight yarn. I initially designed this to use hand spun yarn, however all yarns and weights will work. Needle size is determined by yarn weight and should be up-sized, i.e. Fingering weight: US 6-8 (4.0-5.0mm), Sport/DK: US 7-10 (4.5-6mm), Worsted US 10-13 (6.0-9.0mm) or any size you are comfortable using...
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I wanted something with a littlle bit of lace and cables, so I made these mitts. I used Fingering weight yarn on size US 1.5 (2.50mm) but these mitts can easily be adjusted by going up or down a needle size, or two using lace or sport weight, however yardage may need to be adjusted, as well.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Pattern Notes: Size can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing pattern by 8 stitches, however yarn requirements will also need to adjusted.
