Knitting: Mittens
Stash-busting mittens, made with many colors of mohair and wool. I designed these mittens for a class I taught called “Knitting with scraps”. They’re knit with a strand of mohair and a strand of wool together. You alternate color changes so that one stripe blends into the next. It’s a fun way to experiment with colorways!
Knitting: Kerchief
This is a really simple pattern you can knit out of yarn from your stash (the one in the picture was knit with Fox Fibre cotton yarn). It’s a stockinette triangle with a seed stitch edging to keep it flat and an applied I-cord tie. If you’ve never done an applied I-cord, this is a nice pattern to try it on!
Knitting: Doll Clothes - Other
This is a simple sweater I designed for my son’s sock monkey, which was wearing out in the tummy. It provides a little extra protection for the bits that have been loved off. You may need to adjust the pattern to your own sock monkey’s measurements.
