This is a quick and fun sampler shawlette inspired by the underwater circle designs created by pufferfish during mating season. Increases, decreases, and eyelets create little ripples and bubbles on a garter stitch sea, trimmed with a picot bind off.

Per Se is the perfect shawl for hand dyed yarn when you want to make a statement. A simple stitch pattern creates gentle waves over a field of stockinette, set off by contrasting stripes. Cleverly designed vertical spindles around the upper section provide a unique focal point sure to catch the eye.

A great first cable project for tonal or semi-solid hand dyed yarn. The cables play with the color. Two sizes were created one with worsted and the other with DK yarn. Needle size and gauge are not important, the worsted knit was for a child and the gold a man.
