The ammonite idea came up as an idea for the amigurumi.com contest. It’s an easy to follow pattern and the amigurumi is 10 cm long. It was crocheted with tight stitches and I crochet all my pattern with X-shaped single crochet stitch. It’s up to you if you want the same stitch, but I advise it.
