This pattern was designed for my PK Yarn 2023 advent calendar, “Ugly” Christmas Sweater. I actually think it’s pretty cute! It uses up to 25 different colors of PK Yarn light fingering/sock yarn.

This airy cowl is created by a series of yarn overs lined up on the diagonal. There is no dropping of stitches involved. The lace pattern is edged on the top and bottom with a seed stitch border.

This beautiful cowl is knit with Soliel, a yarn that has been pre-strung with wooden beads and fabric leaves. It can also be made with any worsted weight yarn with the leaves and beads optional. It is a simple seed stitch with yarn overs to create the open mesh panels, and is completely reversible.
