This beautiful box stitch incorporates only two rows and drapes beautifully in Berroco Medina yarn. Other similar drapey dk weight yarns would look good too. To make a narrow scarf, cast on any odd number.

This cowl was originally designed for the Chicago Yarn Crawl 2017. It is quite simple using double crochet and chain ones. Any light worsted weight yarn would work.

This shawl was a project for our 2017 Retreat, “Design Your Own Side-to-Side Shawl”. One size given, but can customize by adding more repeats or increasing yarn weight and hook size. I used 3 skeins of Koigu KPPPM and 1 skein of Koigu KPM. If you do not get gauge and your crochet loose, you may need 4 skeins of the main color (Koigu KPPPM).

This mitten pattern, knit from the cuff to the tip, is made interesting through the addition of an 8-row cable. Gauge and size information is not given; depending on the yarn used and needle size, one could knit anywhere from adult’s small (with DK yarn) to adult’s large (aran or bulky).

I designed this patchwork vest to use up my variety of orange yarns. Most of my yarns are worsted, although I doubled up lighter yarns to get the gauge of worsted on some of the diamonds.
