Originally designed for my mother, “Lulu”, this short scarf alternates a simple checkerboard lace with a solid checkerboard pattern. It is the perfect little scarf to wear as an ascot, and knits up quickly (about 8 - 10 hours). Two lace options are offered—one very textural and reversible, the other smooth and crisp…cowl option, as well!

This is a fun way to use up your bits and pieces! The hat at top fits a baby, and was knit in the round with scraps of Rowan Pure Wool 4-ply and bits of Frog Tree Alpaca.
