Knitting: Sachet
The sachets were Christmas presents for my new daughter in law and her mother. The ribbons are from one of the wedding bouquets. The bags are filled with dried roses from the wedding with a little rose oil added.
Knitting: Mittens
This is a simple pattern for beginners at stranded color patterns. The Lopi Light produces at warm, dense fabric that keeps your hands warm. The inner cuff closes out drafts. The pattern is the same on each side so the mitten can be worn on either hand.

I was looking for a good project for the two skeins of Wisdom Poem yarn. Its a 100% wool roving yarn- very thick and warm looking though it is only a worsted weight. The problem was that there were only 109 yards per skein so a hat seemed a good choice.
