I generally wear a woman’s small or x-small, so I ordered the small, and it fits perfectly! The shirt is really soft and good quality, and I love the color and the design. A++++! ;)

In US sizes I’m about a 10 or 12. I got this shirt in the 2XL and, after machine washing and drying, I’m really happy with the fit. I don’t like my T-shirts too snug, and this one is cut close but not tight. It’s maybe a tad longer than I would like (it hits about four inches below my hip bones) but I would rather have it too long than too short.
It’s also a nice weight cotton - not a Beefy-T, but not tissue-weight either. Nice job!

I got my t-shirt yesterday, and It’s beautiful--I love the color--I don’t have any other shirts that color, and the fit is perfect. I normally wear a women’s medium (US 8-10), and I ordered the size large, as I usually do with American Apparel stuff. Great job guys!

The shirt came. While I like the feel of it, I don’t like how it looks on me. I normally wear size XS/S from H&M and size S Threadless AA shirt but this one is way too long (more like a tunic) and loose. I’ll wash and dry and see if it shrink closer to what i want :)

I got my t-shirt this morning and just couldn’t resist trying it on. The Women’s 2XL is great!! With American Apparel sizes, I tend to wear a Men’s Medium or a Women’s XL. Even the XL can be tight for me, but the 2XL is perfect. It’s a little loose while still being shaping and forming to my curves. I love the quality of the printing and the nice combed cotton shirt. Raverly really outdid themselves with these shirts. I love it!!!

I agree with others that this shirt seems a bit long, but I like the length and it will probably shrink a bit anyway. I usually wear a size 4-6 but I ordered a large in this. A medium probably would have been fine, but large is comfortable and a bit roomy but still fits well. The color is excellent; gray with a definite brownish tinge to it. Very cute!

I generally wear a small, but since I KNOW American Apparel runs smaller than most brands, I ordered a medium.
The fit is great, and of course I love my vegan fibers!

I usually wear a M women’s t-shirt or 10/12; 36A bust. I ordered a L in this shirt & I’d say it fits me like a medium on the smaller side. Shirt washed/dried a-ok; no shrinking or problems with printing quality; material thin & very soft. I added photo to Rav Flicker Pool. In the FYI dept., the yellow printing is a bit hard to read on this color of shirt.

I usually wear a medium in T-shirts, so I got the large and it fits very well on my top half. Because of the length of the shirt (I’m 5’4”, and the front of the shirt comes down past the crotch of my pants) and because I’m somewhat pear-shaped :), the bottom of the shirt hugs my hips a little more than I normally like, but I don’t think it will keep me from wearing it. Other than that, I love the color and design! If the shirt were 4 inches shorter, it would be absolutely perfect!

These seem to fit a little bit small, so you might want to get a size up from what you usually wear!

The material is soft and cozy. The decal is very well-printed and I just love the Ravelry.com font on the back. I think this just became my new favourite shirt!

I generally wear a US 6, but have rather broad shoulders. Since AA shirts tend to run on the small side, I ordered a large in this shirt. Fits well on the shoulders, is a little loose everywhere else (still form-fitting), but that’s kind of how I like my shirts to fit. Also a bit long (I’m a piddly 5’2), but it did shrink just a bit in the dryer. I really like how soft the shirt is.

Deleted my last comment to add - I did get the unisex shirt at first, but after I emailed the correct shirt arrived super fast and the fit is awesome.

For reference, that’s a size 2xl on a person who wears ~size 12.

I love love love the shirt!

I have a 41” chest and ordered at 2XL. It’s not too tight on the chest and has some good ease in it. Overall the fit is great and the tshirt is super comfy. I love it!

I love this shirt. It’s my new favorite t-shirt. It’s comfy, but not too boxy. I’ve worn it for 5 of the last 7 days. It washes really well. It didn’t shrink a huge amount, and it was back to the perfect shape withing 5 minutes of wearing. I machine washed cold (inside out) and dried in the dryer with the rest of the clothes. I’m considering an entire wardrobe’s worth….

I got my shirt a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a medium and it is a lovely fit! I’ve proudly worn it to work and about town. : )

My shirt arrived last week, only a couple days after I ordered it. I love it! It’s so soft and I like the longer length. I normally wear a medium, but I ordered a large because that was all that was left and I also know American Apparel runs on the small side. I’m glad I went with the bigger size and read the comments everyone has left. All of the comments were dead on and very helpful. I just ordered the Organic Veggie Bag (not to match or anything ;), which I have to say I was so happy they were reordered. Cheers!

I got a M and it’s a comfy t-shirt fit and not fitted or tight at all.

My specs: I’m 5 ft 5 inches, and sometimes 5 ft 6 inches when I feel like sitting up straight. My measurements are 33 (with lightly padded bra), 26, 34. I’m technically a 32B for a bra but I’m more comfortable in a 34A. I wear a 0-2 or XS-S at J Crew depending if I want something fitted or looser.

Very nice shirt! I quit buying most tees, because of the fit. Took a chance on the 2XL (hurt my pride), and I’m quite happy with the shorter sleeves and streamlined fit. I am 5’2” with a 41” bust and mature figure (no waist to speak of). Hoping it shrinks in length, only. Very good job, Ravelry on design, cut, and fabric!

Love the shirt! Those of you who got the huge 2xl, yes you got the unisex size. I got that at first too. The AA 2xl is like a men’s large, but with shorter sleeves and cut a little closer to the body.

Thanks so much for another great shirt. I was so excited to receive it in the mail and so fast!!!

I bought the XL and the fit is perfect (not too tight or loose). I am usually a size 8-10 in women’s t-shirts. 10 P/Large in Banana Republic.

I just removed a few comments from people who were accidentally shipped the unisex so that others who are interested in the style shirt won’t be confused about the fit (we had a pretty big “oops!” with this particular shirt and we got everyone the right size after we figured out what happened)

Thanks for commenting everyone!

I got my Bob yarn tshirt - I love it! I’m usually a size small (36” bust) and I ordered a M on this one. It’s a little snug around the bust, but OK as long as I don’t wear a padded bra. ;-)

It has a nice shape and looks great. A+!

Yep, I got my shirt a couple days ago. I wear a medium and I ordered the large because there was no mediums left. It turned out to fit perfectly and it is OH so soft! I love it! Worth the price in my eyes.

I norrmally wear a medium or large and due to the comments ordered a large and I have to say since I am rather busty I should have gotten a XL or 2XL for sure since it is very snug around the chest. Needless to say I still love this shirt and will either keep it or give it to my daughter and order another.
